As far as testing, one of the channels programmed is weather, and I can say reception works great on that channel.

This is for weather sealing more than anything else. See the close up photo for yourself. I can't test transmitting I am assuming it should work also, but I can't make a guarantee for it.

It has been reprogrammed and will need to be reprogrammed again for your specific use. USPS makes this determination. I am not the original owner of the item.

Aside from scratches dings on the radio and some tape on the base used for labeling, the rubber duckier antenna has small hairline cracks in the rubber.
