I am a certified Motorola technician and have been repairing these exact radios for 20 years. Most housings were cleaned thoroughly.

But in some cases, I did not take the time to remove tape or Velcro. Look things can happen in shipping and they even here before I ship flat rate to all USA.

I have about 50 uhf vhf model's, but am listing only 2 or 3 at one time.

Some radios were already boxed before I put up this ad. Some housings will show signs of discoloration or fading.

This is a uhf 450-470mhz repeater, 2 control cables, and head only no power supply, duplexes or housing included the r1225 primary radio functioning portion of gr1225. I thoroughly test these radios. I have tested each and every one to Motorola specifications.

I test and adjust input output Rx sensitivity, power, power avg over frequency range, audio levels all accessory connector inputs outputs levels, triggers, programming, etc repeater modes auto, manual trigger ensure that every single portion of the radio functions as expected meets Motorola factory specifications. M44mrc90c2aa mhz adjustable up to 45w power output 16 channel memory wide or narrow band settings programmable CID id 2 pl spl codes per several repeater modes, manual, auto and triggered. I sold a none functional laptop as-is and stated that could not remember the exact configuration of.

So I will address it here. In most cases the outside housing is visually good used condition as you can see from pictures. The r1225 can be used in dozens of configurations.

Trying to save some time. Inside of radios have been thoroughly cleaned outside housing the radio is far less important to me. Radios that failed testing have been repaired and defective parts were replaced as Motorola factory standard practices.

I will try to include at least one pic of the exact radio that is being shipped for each sale, but can't make promises until time comes.

I know the specific problems they have exact repairs required for long term reuse in field.
