Each t4900 two way radio requires 3 aa batteries, which are not included. One of the rugged fun series of two way radio model's, the Motorola talkabout t4900 offers an enhanced range of up to 3 miles ideal for neighborhood communications for the family who likes to keep in touch. I tested these radios out and they work fine, although there are no batteries included with these takes 3 aa batteries, or a rechargeable battery pack there are a few for sell here on, as well as the battery charger docking stations. The radios still have the plastic tabs covering the channel screens as shown in my pictures.
