The tk-840 series mobiles are PC programmable and capable of conventional or trunking Lr operation. This is not a factory change. Shipping is via a USPS medium flat rate box.

This listing is for the radio only - power cord, microphone, and mounting bracket are not included. The radio powers up - but no further testing has been performed. This is a used Kenwood TK-840K2 which has been modified for remote-mount operation. Connection between the RF deck and control head is via a db25 cable not included as seen in picture.
