It has a screw on port for two wires an external battery power backup as well. It does require a power supply and plug. The power amplifier is bad and needs replacement.
As is and needs repair. My tech was able to program frequencies fine and received an error code 7 pointing the power amplifier. I do not know anything more about the product.
It is a flat fee the Motorola dealer charges which includes shipping. The Motorola dealer charges it currently only transmits at 5 watts but once you fix power amplifier will do up to 50.
